A Better Technology Partner

Are you tired of Technology that just doesn’t seem to work?

You’re not alone.  From Wi-Fi instability, printers getting kicked offline, email not being delivered to your team and/or customers, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera?  The promise of tech making business easier appears to be a big fat lie.

It’s not just one specific brand or product that makes these promises.  It’s all of them!  You find something that looks good, happily throw down your hard-earned money to purchase it, then get it back to the office only to have one of 2 things happen:

One:  It works great for a week and then all of the sudden, POOF!  It stops.  “Oh no, what do I do now?”  Spend hours on the phone with product support, only to get hung up on because the frustration you’ve experienced makes you want to bomb “Support-istan”?  (Ask me how I know)

Two:  It never works as advertised, and now you’re stuck with it!  You’re in the same situation as before, with no help and 15 hours of your life spent trying to solve the problem that you’ll never get back.

GRRRRRR…

Relax.  There is a better way.

Fortunately, there is help.  It works a little differently than you might imagine.  What if, for example, you had someone to help you make those purchases?

  • Who can ask the right questions about your business needs now and a year from now?
  • Who knows the best places to acquire them?
  • Who knew the best way to set them up AND maintain them?
  • Who can bring out the best processes to use them for maximum productivity and value?

This person or organization is going to be your new best friend.  If your IT provider doesn’t do this now, it might be high time to look at one that does.  They should be able to do some small, but highly effective tasks you may have overlooked as important qualities for your technology partner to do .

One:  They should be able to make a solid connection with your team, find out what they really need, and translate that into solutions for you to consider.

Two:  They should also be able to see past the techie stuff and see inside of your business, recognize better solutions and processes, and assist you in implementing them.

Three:  They should be looking to make your business secure, efficient, and compliant.  They should also be transparent, meaning you hold the keys to your own castle.

You might be asking yourself:
“Where the hell do I find this mythical creature?”

This is tricky.  It might take some time to find.  It might prove to be expensive.  But at the end of the day, finding a reliable person or organization will allow you more time to work on your business, instead of constantly in it.  All the best!
